Meet King!

King came to MNGR from a Texas kill shelter, listed as a “greyhound mix” (we’re still squining to see it). But when we saw that sweet face (that face!) and learned he was on the euthanasia list for that day, our Director Jen couldn’t turn away. And thank goodness she didn’t, because King might just be the friendlist pup we’ve ever met!

This handsome guy is blind in one eye and arrived heartworm positive, but he’s been fully treated (April-May) and is doing fantastic now. King is our “honorary greyhound,” and he’s ready to leave his past behind and start fresh with a forever family.
